Development Goal: Routine exercise of four limbs increases the baby’s strength and flexibility, preparing for flipping over and crawling.
Personality Goal: Good motor skills, brings a happier baby, thus a sociable and self-controlled one.
Preparation: Song that is slightly fast but not too violent
How to play: While baby is awake, play the music to catch his attention. Raise baby’s hands or legs along with the rhythm, while singing the song. Be careful not to choose songs that are more than 5 minutes as this may tire the baby.
Daddy’s participation: Say “Up the lift, Up Up Up! Down the Lift, Down Down Down!” When saying “Up”, lift the hands up. When saying “Down”, bring the hands down. Do it for the other parts of the body. Sing the same tune every time you play this game. Lastly, lift baby up and bring put him down. Then kiss him gently on the cheeks.

Daddy’s participation: Hold baby’s hands to touch the balloon and encourage baby to do it himself.

Baby Games for 2 month olds (Knock Knock)

Development Goal: This game trains delicate movements, and baby’s fingers and wrist. Baby can also develop his music tempo ability.
Personality Goal: EQ plays an important role in baby’s growing up process. Baby is able to have better concentration and hence, higher learning ability.
Preparation: A rattle
How to play: Shake rattle to catch baby’s attention, say “Rattle rattle dong dong dong, Baby baby smile smile smile!” While saying the first part, shake the rattle. As baby’s eardrums are still weak, be sure not to shake too loudly. While saying the second part, look at baby and smile. Babies’ hearing develop faster than sight, therefore hearing training is more important at this time.
You can also: Try to shake the rattle in different locations and let him find the sound. As he search for the sounds, his hearing gets more sensitive.
